I’m interested in knowing what the mattress-looking items are in photos associated with your STAKE proposal. Are they mattresses? Did you make them in your shop from recycled materials?
These panels are part of a piece that artist Billy Blaise Dufala is currently working on during his pilot-residency with RAIR. The upholstered panels are made 100% from recycled materials from the yard – plywood, film plastics, and fiberglass insulation. We’ll post images of the finished piece once it’s complete – be sure to check back!
