The Dufala Brothers, Steven and Billy Blaise (RAIR's co-founder), have been utilizing materials from the waste stream at RAIR for the past few years. In 2013 they were selected to be part of the Hidden City Festival in which they constructed an installation, at Globe Dye Works. In 2010 and 2011, the brothers sourced material for their exhibitions: Problemy at Haverford College and Urbanism at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
The Dumpster Coffin was actually the first piece of art work to be produced entirely through RAIR.
