Residency Facilities

RAIR has access to the over 450 tons of construction demolition waste per day in the yard at Revolution Recovery. A full workshop and private studio spaces are available for the artists in residence. The workshop contains a basic woodworking shop: table saw, band saw, miter saw, sanders etc; hand held power tools: drills, sawzall, jig saw, circular saw, pneumatic nailers etc; some metal working equipment: small MIG welder, angle grinder, vises etc.  Artists also have access to Revolution Recovery's 3.5 acre site to work in during the recycling center's off hours. Some residents may be allowed to utilize the recycling center's equipment (excavators, front end loaders, fork lifts, scissor lift etc) but only with the guided assistance of the RAIR staff.
